24/7
I have a group of friends....I've only met one of them IRL. But there are 5 ladies out there in cyber world that have become like sisters to me. Or even more than a sister based on my relationship with my biological sister. We talk all the time. Gmail all day (most days) in between work, childcare, errands, etc. And when we can we chat on Yahoo at night. They make me laugh, cry, and everything in between. We talk on the phone alot. Except one of us who isn't much of a phone person. But when my dad was dying guess who called me.....the "not much of a phone person." Just having gone through this 2 weeks ago with my dad made me realize how important they are to me. Not an hour went by that 2 days of hospital and then home with hospice that one of them didn't call me. I could feel their love, concern, prayers right over the phone and through the emails and messages they sent. And their tears. I know they cried right along with me. And 2 of them had lost a parent also so they truly knew what I was feeling. It helped to know that they survived and I would too. They sent flowers, cards, and a gorgeous Willow Tree that is named "Thinking of You." And my favorite scent Yankee Candle. I just can't tell you how much it meant to me to know they cared so much. None of us have money to blow. But they sacrificed to send gifts to me. And I know they are with me 24/7 if I ever need an ear or shoulder. I am so touched and honored to know these women. And so I write this to thank them and tell them how incredibly much I value their friendship and love. So.....Carley, Missy, Melissa, Terri and Jen. This is dedicated to you my lovelies.
