Let the Birthday Festivities Begin!

6 years ago last night I was fasting as I prepared for a version and possible induction or c-section the following morning.  The stinker was sideways!  But by the time we got to the hospital at 6 am on April 30th he had turned.  6 years ago tonight I was in the midst of labor.  ugh. But after induction and 23 hours of labor he was still posterior and I never dilated to 10, the c-section was done at 10:18 am on May 1st.  On my Grandpa's birthday.  It was a perfect moment.  The most perfect moment of my life.

So tomorrow I took the day off work. I get to take kids to school.  My first time dropping Luke off in the circle like a big boy!   In the morning I have to get my TB test read at work and then I am spoiling myself because **  I  ** am the one who did the work right?  I am getting hair and pedicure done.  :)  Happy mama = Happy family!  Then at noon I go to Luke's school to volunteer for the afternoon.  After school we pick up his cake  - BATMAN!  oh and don't forget the ice cream. Then it's home to change and snack before T-ball game at 5.  My mom and sis and fam are coming for that.  After that we'll get pizza (his fav) and open presents and have the cake (and ice cream).  Then Friday I have to go to work (boo).  After work we go to the Lazer Tag party adventure for 10 school friends from 4-6 pm.  They are even putting his pic on the electronic sign out front before and after the party.  :) 

Ok  - I better go wrap his present!  Doh!
