What weekend?
Word of advice.....never plan 2 HUMONGO projects for the same weekend.....oh say for example repainting your kitchen and building a monstrous outdoor play structure for your kids. Why do I offer this advice you ask? Well....let's just say I speak from experience. The good news is I am still married. We never even really fought which I guess is a really good sign that we were both patient and considerate and didn't take any stress out on the other. It also helped that my mom was here helping both days. And our wonderful brilliant neighbor yesterday managed the outdoor project. The kitchen is nearly complete save for some paint touch ups, outlet covers, wall hangings to be purchased, and my lighting that my uncle should be coming tonight to install. The bad news is the play set is about half done. Now granted....we spent 8 hours so far on a (4-6 hour project), but it's done with the utmost quality due to our neighbor. This thing will stand for decades to come! But the point of my blogging is both DH and I feel like walking dead this morning.....I could sleep for ages. Every muscle in my body hurts. My head is throbbing (nothing to do with the 2 glasses of homemade wine I drank last night). So it's off to work I go. Good thing it's only a 3 day week this week. But we'll spend the 4th finishing the play set.

Heh, I always plan more for myself than I can handle. For instance with Chris in India and Jordan at the beach I had planned on:
Getting completely caught up with work.
Completing the office rearranging/decluttering
Finish the rearranging/decluttering of the 'Green room'.
Regular work and housework
Getting plenty of rest and TV watching in.
Starting Jordan's scrapbook (which includes organizing/going through 11 years of pictures)
Heh....I've gotten the Green room semi-completed and I've managed some TV watching. Jordan is now home....Chris will be home on Saturday...my Dad and brother are coming over today to do some work on the outside/underside of the house. I'll be lucky to get ANY of my planned projects done. Fat lot of good it does me to be a planner. LOL!!
