THat people not call between 8-9 pm? It is when we get the kids to bed. I swear on a stack of Bibles there is RARELY a night that we don't get at least 1 (or 12) phone calls. It's so irritating. DH is about ready to bite the head off the next person to call during that time. The worst offender of late is my uncle. Twice a year he bugs DH until he finds time to go out and de-virus and update his computers. It's so irritating in the first place let alone calling when we are trying to read to kids. Some people DH doesn't mind helping people with their puters because they do stuff for us. Especially with Dad gone my other aunt and uncle have been great about helping out with handy man stuff we used to rely on dad for. But this particular uncle has only even been to our house once in the 5 years we've been here. Since he married this wench of a second wife after his first wonderful wife died. Last fall before they left for Florida he called and wanted DH to do it within like 2 days so they could leave for Florida. Nice - nothing like a timeline. So he's back from his winter in Florida and it's now time for his usual mooching. But I digress.....Even my in-laws are culprits. Last week two nights in a row they called at 8:30 and 2 weeks prior they were here for 5 days so it's NOT LIKE they didn't know that is the time we put the kids down. DH was livid. I always try to think before I call people that I know have small kids. Even when they live in different time zones. I don't get why others can't do us the same favor.
